We're pleased to offer the following services in our Dallas Veterinary Clinic:
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
If you have an emergency after hours, please call the Emergency Animal Clinic at 972-994-9110. The EAC is located at Greenville Ave and 635/LBJ and has a full medical and surgical staff on duty to answer your questions and treat your pet's emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Many illness can be treated on an outpatient basis. However, some conditions require hospitalization to be successfully treated. Be assured that your pet will receive the most professional and thoughtful care possible while in our hospital.
Bathing (medicated and flea baths) is available, along with dipping for fleas, ticks, and mange mites. Grooming is available on a limited basis.
Boarding is available for all dogs and cats; our facility is completely enclosed, with inside runs available for the dogs and separate facilities for cats. Special diet and medications will be given for added charge. All pets must be current on vaccinations. Kennel cough vaccination is required for all dogs. Please call for reservations.
As veterinarians, we are dedicated to preserve the health and well-being of animals. Please do not ask us to terminate the life of an animal with a curable condition.
There are two veterinarians practicing at White Rock Animal Hospital, and we care for two types of pets:
White Rock Animal Hospital operates an open hospital. This means that our team welcomes owners to be with their animals during most medical procedures.
White Rock Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered. No billing is done through this office, unless prior arrangements have been made with the doctor or office manager.
Our fees are based on what we feel is a fair return for the time spent with you and your pet, the nature of the illness, drugs used and services rendered. We require a deposit on hospitalized patients. Unfortunately, this is necessary to reduce the number of pets abandoned each year at our hospital.
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
Occasionally, we will be away from the hopital attending advanced courses in Veterinary Medicine to better serve you and your pet. We will arrange complete coverage by a veterinarian at our facility to insure our patients have access to medical and surgical services while we are gone.
